A month of bulk food for 22 children
Open for help. Added 18 Oct 2026 by Thembalethu Children's Home.
Thembalethu cares for 22 children aged 3 to 17 who were placed with us by the courts. Our government subsidy covers about two thirds of our food costs. This month we will buy maize meal, rice, samp, beans, oil, peanut butter, tinned fish and vegetables in bulk, and upload the itemised till slip.
Why you can trust this case
- This is for Thembalethu Children's Home's own needs. Its registration and bank account have been checked.
- The money is paid to Shoprite Khayelitsha (food parcel), which we have checked. It never goes to a personal bank account.
- The partner buys the food and hands over the parcel. No vouchers or cash.
- Thembalethu Children's Home can only have one open case for its own food parcel at a time.
- The partner must upload the receipt within 14 days of receiving the money.
